PAINESVILLE, Ohio — A man faces multiple charges after police officers found him intoxicated, with a gun, sitting in his car with his 7-month-old baby.

Painesville police said it happened Monday on Elm Street.

That’s where officers found Kenneth Davis, Jr., with a loaded revolver.

He was taken into custody, then transported to Tri-Point Medical Center. Police did not say why he required medical treatment.

After being released from the hospital, Davis was booked into the Lake County Jail on a slew of charges: carrying a concealed weapon; having a weapon while under disability; improperly handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle; driving under OVI suspension; OVI; and endangering children.

A judge set bond at $300,000.
