Motorcyclist Arrested After Police Chase, Crash

CLEVELAND, Ohio — One man was arrested after leading police on a chase and then crashing his motorcycle exiting Interstate 71 southbound Sunday.

According to Strongsville police, officers attempted to stop the motorcyclist for a registration violation at about 6:07 p.m.

The driver then fled and was pursued. Police said he crashed while exiting Interstate 71 at Pearl Road in Middleburg Heights a few minutes later.

The driver was then taken into custody.

Police said no officers were injured in the chase, and they do not know the condition of or injuries to the driver.
