2 Arrested in Shooting Death of CLE Dad

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland police said two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a man fatally shot several times in the chest and side Saturday.

The victim’s three children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, according to police.

It happened in the 1100 block of East 60th Street around 6:30 a.m. The Cleveland Division of Police said Jason Fisher, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they arrested two men also found shot in the apartment. One suspect is a 18-year-old Cleveland man who had gunshot wounds to his hand. The other is a 28-year-old Cleveland man who had a gunshot wound to the arm.

Both suspects were treated and released from MetroHealth Medical Center and are in custody awaiting charges, according to police.

The incident is still under investigation.

The victim’s  children were unharmed and are now in the care of their mothers.

An argument or possible robbery attempt may have spurred the gunfire among the three men, a police investigation revealed.
