Quake Rattles Northern California

(CNN) — A moderate earthquake rattled northern California on Thursday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The epicenter of the magnitude 5.9 quake was near Greenville, or about halfway between Redding, California, and Reno, Nevada.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
