A man driving a blue Dodge Caravan parked in a driveway on Mt. Auburn Avenue just before 2 a.m. Police say the victim confronted the man and an argument ensued. The man pulled out of the driveway, drove a short distance, stopped the van and fired shots at the victim.

The victim, Barnard Patterson, was shot in the head. He was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where he died.

Police say the suspect is a black male, 42, and may still be driving the blue Dodge Caravan.
