It’s a country crooner up against an R&B singer in tonight’s American Idol finale.

Kree Harrison and Candice Glover each sang three songs on last night’s final performance show. Tonight a winner will be crowned.

But the big story for the show this season hasn’t been with the singers. It’s been with the judges, lack of “buzz” and dismal ratings.

Fox spent $40 million on judges Mariah Carey, Nikki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson only to have ratings slip by 22 percent.

The entire judging panel is rumored to be on their way out for next season. Fox chief Kevin Reilly expects the show to go back to three judges.

What would get you excited about the show again? Who would you like to see on the judging panel? Head over to our Facebook page and let us know. We’ll share your comments during Plugged In from 6:30 – 9AM!
