Cleveland-Two days after Mother's Day, a Cleveland mother is honored for her tireless devotion to the memory of her child and to helping others.

Yvonne Pointer's daughter, Gloria, was raped and murdered in December, 1984.

Yvonne Pointer dedicated the last nearly 30-years to helping other victims of violent crime while spending every day trying to find her daughter's killer.

A suspect in the case, Hernandez Warren, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with aggravated murder on Wednesday.

A support group paid tribute to Yvonne Pointer on Wednesday evening, thanking her for her service. She said, "It means a whole lot to think after so many years people are still concerned about Gloria, a young lady who lived only fourteen years but has made an impact all over the world."

58-year-old Hernandez Warren will be in court on Thursday.
