The Ohio Lottery wants to rewards its loyal players.

The Ohio Lottery Commission is looking for proposals from companies for a ‘players loyalty rewards program.’ Players would earn points for participating in lottery games and can then redeem the points for prizes.

The rewards program would offer both a website and mobile app for current customers and provide them with an incentive to continue playing while attracting a new wave of players.

Officials are unclear on how the program would work. That’s why they’re seeking proposals from companies for a program plan, according to lottery spokeswoman Danielle Babb.

The rewards program is set to begin this fall.
