CLEVELAND -- An unsolved cold case was thrust back into the headlines Tuesday when police announced an arrest in the death of Gloria Pointer.

Pointer, 14, was abducted, raped and killed while walking to Harry E. Davis Junior High on Cleveland’s east side.

That was in December 1984.

Wednesday on Fox 8 News in the Morning, her mother, Yvonne Pointer, talked about the developments and about forgiveness.

Shortly after the interview, an aggravated murder charge against Hernandez Warren was announced.
