4th Grader Asked to Take Test from Hospital Bed

BETHLEHEM, New York– A very sick little boy was asked to take a New York State test from his hospital bed, according to WRGB.

The 4th grader has life-threatening epilepsy and his seizures can only be stopped with medication; so his parents are considering brain surgery.

WRGB reported that during his hospital stay, a woman walked into the room and said she was a teacher with the New York City School District and she was there to administer the state test.

The family said they were shocked.The district said it was the first they’d heard of it when the family called the school.Watch the video above for more.
