BROADVIEW HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The northbound lanes on Interstate 77 that were closed for several hours due to a multi-vehicle, double fatal accident in Broadview Heights, have reopened.

The crash happened just after 8:30 a.m., near State Route 82. It involved four cars and a truck. Police say at least one vehicle plowed through a guardrail, and one car flipped over.

Four EMS squads and a medical helicopter were sent to the scene to assist. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed it also responded for two victims -- a man and a woman.

They have been identified as David Starr, 33, of Barberton, and Gail Bradley, 57, of Medina.

The conditions of the four injured people were not immediately released.

All lanes of I-77 northbound are now open at SR 82. The SR 82 westbound entrance ramp to I-77 northbound is now open, as well.
