I-90 bridge crash; March 9

CLEVELAND– Cleanup from a pedestrian bridge crash will cost $286,000.

The bridge over I-90 was severely damaged and had to be taken down after the crash on March 9, when a truck’s raised trailer knocked the structure off its foundation.

I-90 in that area was closed in both directions for the entire weekend.

The driver, Michael Edwards, was charged with two counts of failure to control, driving an unsafe vehicle and shifting/loose loads.

His attorney filed a not guilty plea on his behalf.
