STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — A local running store is doing what it can to help the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The Active Runner store in Strongsville is donating all of its profits this weekend to the victims.

Store owner Randy Osborne said he put the offer on Facebook Tuesday, and the response has been overwhelming.

Osborne, a runner himself, said once he saw Monday’s bombing, he knew he wanted to do something to help.

“I have kids as well, and after hearing what happened to that little boy there, it just touched me and struck with me, and I couldn’t imagine something like that happening,” said Osborne. “It really hit home, and I really wanted to do whatever I can to help out.”

The store also has a donation jar for those who just want to make a contribution to the Boston victims without needing to make a purchase.
