Procession Held for Fallen MIT Officer

BOSTON, Mass. -- Officers from the Boston Police Department paid their respects to fallen Massachusetts Institute of Technology police officer, Sean Collier, with an escort Saturday evening.

Collier, 26, was shot to death Friday by the Boston Marathon explosion suspects.

Collier had been an MIT officer since January 2012.

Police stood at attention on Albany Street from East Canton Street to the Expressway for the tribute at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
