Man Shot in Neck; Police Investigate

CLEVELAND — A man told police he did not hear a gun fire or see a suspect when he was shot in the neck.

According to the Cleveland Division of Police, officers were called to the 14500 block of Benwood Avenue around 2 a.m. Saturday.

The victim, Damien Williams, 32, of Cleveland, said he was getting out of his vehicle to enter his home when he felt something hit him in the neck.

When he got inside, he saw the blood.

Williams was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
