Hazmat Responds After Chemicals Found

CLEVELAND– Authorities are investigating after several boxes are found.

According to Cleveland Fire Department spokesman Larry Gray, nine boxes were found on Putnam Ave. Thursday morning. There are a number of bottles in each box and they appear to be some sort of chemical.

Gray said they were just left in a vacant field.

Hazmat is on scene and so are Cleveland police and fire.

They are in the process of identifying the chemicals.
