CLEVELAND -- Power has been restored inside Horseshoe Cleveland. The casino said Thursday afternoon that it is fully operational and is open for guests.

The second level of the casino, including table games, slots, High Limit and Food Court has reopened.

The casino said that a faulty part was identified as the cause of the power outage which occurred throughout the Higbee Building at around 1:30 a.m.

The casino worked with Forest City, the building owner, and First Energy to replace the part which restored all power.

Earlier in the morning, employees of the casino said the first floor was operating on generator power. The second floor was partially operational. The third floor was blocked off to gamblers.
