STRONGSVILLE, Ohio-- Students in Strongsville staged a walkout Friday morning.

They said enough is enough. They want their teachers back and they want to get back to learning.

They are pro-teachers, pro-school board and most of all: pro-student!

The Strongsville teachers strike has gone on for three weeks now. Next week is spring break; so the students said that's a month of not learning the way they should be while teachers are on the picket line.

Students said it's not as chaotic in school as it was the first few days.

Meanwhile, the teachers' union has filed papers in court, demanding records related to substitute teachers, their qualifications, background checks, addresses and phone numbers.

The union also submitted a new offer that includes over $300,000 in proposed savings to the district, among other things.

They said the board has yet to respond.
