Police Search for Sex Offender with Unique Tattoos

AKRON, Ohio — Authorities are searching for a wanted sex offender who failed to comply with Ohio’s sex offender registration laws.

Rashawn Britton, 27, has tattoos that say “Gaffney,” “Maddie” and “RIP Bob.” He’s described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds.

Deputies with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office issued the warrant for his arrest on March 13. He’s wanted on a charge of failure to provide a change of address.

According to public records, the suspect was convicted in Minnesota for an attack on a female juvenile. His last registered address is on 31st Street in Akron.

Anyone with information on Britton’s whereabouts is asked to call the Summit County Sheriff’s Office or the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation at 855-224-6446.
