CLEVELAND — The month of April is National Autism Awareness month, and Panera Bread locations in northeast Ohio are raising money for the cause.

From April 2 through April 6, Panera Bread’s second annual Pieces of Hope for Autism campaign will donate 100 percent of all sales of their Puzzle Piece cookies to Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital Center for Autism.

Medical Mutual of Ohio will also donate $1 for each cookie sold.

The Puzzle Piece cookie is unique to all 40 Panera Bread locations in northeast Ohio, but can be purchased online by clicking here.

Last year, the Pieces of Hope for Autism campaign raised more than $40,000 to Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital Center for Autism.
