Local Woman Wins $1M in Ohio Lottery

CLEVELAND — A Cleveland woman became an instant millionaire after winning a second-tier prize in the Ohio Lottery.

Dawn Watson won $50,000 a year for 20 years after scratching a $5 Million Cash Blowout.

She purchased the winning ticket from the EZ Mart Food Store on Rocky River Drive in Cleveland.

Watson chose the cash option of her prize. After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent are withheld, she will receive $355,000.
