Jet Slides Off Runway in Cuyahoga County

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A Lear jet slid off the runway Monday morning at the Cuyahoga County Airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The jet from Teeterboro, New Jersey, landed on the runway at about 11 a.m. As it was turning onto the taxi-way, it slid off into the grass.

There were no injuries reported, and the jet only sustained minor damage.

The cause is under investigation.
