My Town: Annual Child Safe Community Day Fair

AVON LAKE, Ohio — For the third year in a row, the Child Safe Community Day Fair is teaching the importance of staying safe.

The fair is holding several clinics and workshops, including Stranger Danger, Martial Arts Demonstration, ‘Bullyproofing’ and a fire engine tour for fire safety. Along with the workshops, the fair is also hosting an Easter egg hunt, a chance to take a picture with the Easter Bunny and an ice cream eating contest.

Attendees will also receive free finger printing I.D. kits provided by the Avon Lake Police Department.

The Child Safe Community Day Fair will be held Sunday, March 10 at Troy Intermediate School located on 237 Belmar Avenue. The fair will run from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Child Safe Community Day Fair is hosted by the Avon/Avon Lake Rotary Club and Jeff Ellis International Karate Centers.
