CLEVELAND -- Multiple accidents on Interstate 90 are causing major backups for commuters this morning.

A flipped car in the westbound lanes at East 185th Street stalled traffic for over an hour.

Two left lanes were blocked while crews worked to clean up the scene. One person was taken to Euclid Hospital, according to Cleveland EMS.

Officials did not say how the accident happened.

Not long after that cleanup, emergency crews responded to I-90 eastbound near West Blvd., where a pole came down across the roadway. At least two cars were involved in that crash.

Several hundred yards down the road, police responded to another multi-vehicle accident. Three EMS units responded to the two aforementioned accidents; however, there is no word on whether or not anyone was hurt.

The left two lanes on I-90 eastbound near West Blvd. are blocked off. Motorists should expect long delays.
