2 Females Shot, 2 Arrests Made

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Two females were shot early Saturday on the city’s East Side during an argument.

According to police, dispatch was called just after 4 a.m. to reports of a male shot at East 71st Street and Bliss Avenue. But when they arrived, police found a dark green Chevrolet Tahoe with two female victims inside.

One of the females, a 28-year-old, had a gunshot to the torso, and the other 19-year-old victim had gun powder burns and a possible graze wound to the right arm. Both were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Officers were told that the two victims had been sitting in their vehicle, and one was arguing with a man. Police said during the argument, the man pulled out a handgun and fired several shots into the vehicle before fleeing the scene.

While investigating the shooting, dispatch received a call from University Hospital reporting that a male arrived with a gunshot to the foot.The man he said another unknown man fired several shots at him outside the SUV involved in the East 71st Street incident.

Both the male victim and the male he accused of shooting him were arrested and are awaiting charges, said police.

The shooting is still under investigation.
