Police Looking for Cigarette Theft Suspects

AKRON– Detectives in Akron are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in nearly a dozen thefts involving cartons of cigarettes.

Police say during one of the thefts, a store clerk at Circle K was shoved and the store was robbed.

In all of the thefts, the suspects enter the store and try to buy a large quantity of cigarettes. But, police say, as the clerk rings up the sale, the suspects grab the cigarettes and run.
