My Town: First Ever Shore Folk Festival

EUCLID, Ohio — The first ever Shore Folk Festival is coming to town and will feature both local and national musical and artistic talent alike.

The Shore Cultural Centre is hosting the festival, which will take place on Saturday, February 23 beginning at 12 p.m.

The festival will begin with workshops from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a kids concert in between at 3 p.m., and will finish with a headline concert at 7 p.m. Tickets for the Shore Folk Festival are $2 per person for individual workshops, and $5 per person for all day admission. All day admission for families of any size are $15.

All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate in the workshops and play in several jam sessions. Young artists ages 8 – 14 are also welcome to showcase their talents in poetry and song writing.

The headline concert will feature the likes of Mark Olitsky, Bert Dennis and Janice Pohl, poets Ray McNiece and Katie Daley, and several others.

The Shore Folk Festival will be held at the Shore Cultural Center at 291 E. 222nd Street.
