Students Lose Fingers in Tug of War Game

Two students had their fingers cut off during a game of tug of war at a high school in California.

KTLA reported the rope snapped, severing the fingers of a male student and a female student at South El Monte High School.

It happened during the festivities of spirit week.

KTLA also reported the students were undergoing surgery to have their fingers reattached.
