SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — The South Euclid Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck a woman then fled the scene.

The accident happened just after 9:30 Tuesday night at the intersection of Mayfield and Warrensville Center roads.

Police say the woman, whose name has not yet been released, suffered life-threatening injuries. She is currently listed in critical condition at MetroHealth Medical Center.

Investigators are looking for a newer, blue pickup truck with a possible red stripe on the side, and a white plow on the front. The vehicle should have damage to the right front side and possibly to the right plow light or fog light. It could also be missing some plastic pieces from the front.

Anyone with information on this crash is urged to call the South Euclid Police Department at (216) 381-1234.
