BRUNSWICK,Ohio- Visintainer Middle School loves to keep their students active, even in the winter months. The Ski and Snowboard Club, managed by Jennifer Jeppe, 7th Grade Social Studies/Language Arts teacher , has about 40 members, including a mix of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders.

The members of the Ski and Snowboard Club visit the slopes at Brandywine every Tuesday for six weeks. The weather has no effect on the club’s schedule, because the Brandywine resort creates artificial snow for the winter days that aren’t as icy and frozen as other times during the cold months. Nearing the end of the year, students participating in the Ski and Snowboard Club have an option to go to Peak n’ Peak ski resort in New York.

“The Ski and Snowboard Club is a fun activity that helps you seek thrills with your friends,” says Allison Cipalla, a member of the club. Visintainer’s Ski and Snowboard Club gives students an experience that they will never forget.
