SAGAMORE HILLS– Residents in Sagamore Hills are being cautioned, after a recent burglary spree.

Police say there have been seven burglaries. Three of them were on Millstone Drive.

In all cases, someone broke into the homes and stole items like cash and jewelry.

Police say all the burglaries happened in the early evening, when people might not be home from work yet.

Detectives believe the suspects are going door-to-door or watching for houses where no one is home.

They believe a female suspect will knock at the door and if someone answers, they’ll pretend to be soliciting for the “Family Mission”, or say they have the wrong address.

Police think another suspect is waiting nearby in a car.

Police ask that residents pay attention to anybody knocking on their door after dark. They’re asked to call 911 if that happens and to also call if they see anybody sitting in a car on the street.
