Man Who Tumbled Down Cliff Identified

BEDFORD RESERVATION, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who slid some fifty feet down a cliff at the Metroparks.

The body of Randy Prosen, 37, of Northfield, was recovered on Friday night near the Lost Meadows Picnic Area on the Bedford Reservation.

According to a spokesperson for the Metroparks Rangers, he was discovered by a person walking a bridle trail who noticed the snow had been disturbed near the edge.

Emergency crews were notified, but the rescue mission soon turned into a recovery operation.

It was not known how long Prosen’s body had been stranded.
