ROCKHAMPTON, Australia — A teen is lucky to be alive after he was plucked from raging floodwaters in Australia.

The 14-year-old boy clung to a tree until his rescuer arrived to drag him through the rushing water.

The duo made it to safely to land, where the boy was escorted to a waiting ambulance.

The rescue was one of many in recent days after a cyclone triggered flooding across parts of Australia.
