CLEVELAND — Several areas across Ohio experienced 911 issues Friday.

Landlines were down in many Northeast Ohio cities for several hours.

However, AT&T said the problem is now fixed.

They released this statement Friday afternoon:

“Earlier today, some customers in Northern Ohio may have experienced issues with wireline and 2G wireless services. AT&T technicians quickly worked to resolve the hardware-related issue, and service is currently running normally. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers. Thanks again so much for reaching out to us!”
