Rocco's 8 Minute Minestrone Stew

Recipe from Rocco Whalen, owner of Fahrenheit


2 cups medium diced sirloin, steak, ground meat
1/2 cup garlic
1/4 cup onion
Canned or fresh minestrone
Optional: Beans, cooked pasta, black eyed peas, croutons


Sautee together first three ingredients for 5 minutes on high with salt and pepper.

Add canned or fresh minestrone, tomato, onions, broth, celery, peppers, (and any other vegetables you chose).

Thicken or add heartiness with beans, cooked pasta, black eyed peas, croutons.
Simmer for 3 minutes to simmer, then serve.

And of coarse add some personal zest....scallions, bacon, sausage, sour cream, parmesan, ( a fried egg for Spanish or Mexican Flare)
