North Olmsted Fatal Car Crash Victim Identified

NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio — Police said one person has died after hitting a tree in North Olmsted.

Killed was Danielle Fink, who was an assignment editor at WKYC-TV.

The crash was reported just after 8:30 a.m. Sunday on Bradley Road near the North Ridgeville city line.

Police say Fink’s car went into a tree. Fink, who was alone in the car, had passed away by the time police arrived.

Police are still investigating the accident, including a possible cause.

“Danielle was a beloved friend and colleague at WKYC and respected by journalists, law enforcement and community leaders throughout Northeast Ohio. She loved Cleveland and Northeast Ohio passionately. She was a loyal fan of the Indians, Cavaliers and Browns. Dani celebrated all that made her hometown special.”
