BRISTOL, Trumbull Co. -- Several agencies in Trumbull County Friday sprang into action to save a dog trapped on the ice.

Sheriff's Deputy Dario Poledica captured the rescue on his cell phone.

Trumbull County 911 Dispatch was called just after 9:30 a.m. to Corey Hunt Road N.W. in Bristol.

Rescue workers used water rescue equipment, including an inflatable boat, to reach the dog.

They finally scooped it up from the ice. The dog's name is Lori, and she's expected to be OK.
