Flu Shots Offered at Upcoming Clinics

As the flu continues to spread, local flu shot clinics are being held to deal with the demand.

In Portage County the following dates have been established. 

No appointment is necessary. 

Medicaid, Buckeye, Care Source, United Health, and Medicare Part B (as primary insurance) are accepted. 

The cost is $10 for kids and $20 for adults. 

A nasal vaccine is available for kids ages 2-18.

In Medina County, a flu shot clinic will cater to working parents who would like their children (six months to 18 years) to receive the vaccine.

Monday, January 14
5-7 p.m.
4800 Ledgewood Drive
Medina, OH

Shots will be offered on a first come, first served basis, while supplies last.

The cost is $12 for Medina County children and $14.50 for out-of-county children, but no one will be denied the vaccine if payment is a problem.

Traditional Medicaid, Care Source, Well Care, and Buckeye Community will be accepted.  Insurance cards and the photo ID of a parent or legal guardian is required.
