COLORADO– A proposed bill would let parents in Colorado buy alcohol for their children, even if they aren’t the legal drinking age.

KMGH reports a bill is being introduced by Republican Senator Greg Brophy.

He wants parents to be able to buy alcohol at bars or restaurants for their kids, if they are 18 years old, but not yet 21.

The bill was introduced in Colorado’s legislative session that began today.

The idea has critics, including MADD.
