My Town: Metroparks Zoo Presents ‘Fairytales & Frogs’

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is set to present its annual Fairytales & Frogs event.

The fourth annual celebration will be held Monday, February 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in TheRainForest–where the temperatures stays 80 degrees all year long. Fairytales & Frogs teaches visitors about the amphibians in the animal kingdom, and everyone is encouraged to come dressed as a princess, prince or frog.

Kids 11 and younger will receive free admission to the Zoo and The RainForest with a paid adult admission. Since the event is on a Monday, adult Cuyahoga County and Hinckley Township residents can receive free admission to the Zoo and $5.25 admission to The RainForest. Residents from other counties will receive reduced winter admission.

The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is open every day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. year-round. Through March 31, general admission is $8.25 for adults, $5.25 for kids 2 to 11 and free for kids younger than 2.
