TJ Lane Family Comments Will Not Be Blocked
CHARDON– A judge ruled that conversations between T.J. Lane’s relatives will be allowed into evidence.
The conversations took place in a police interview room hours after the Feb. shooting.
The defense says that the family had no idea they were being videotaped or recorded while waiting in an interrogation room.
The ruling says the Lane family knew or should have known that it was an interrogation room and not a private area where private conversations can take place.
18-year-old Lane is accused of killing three teenagers at Chardon High School on Feb. 27.
His trial is scheduled to begin Jan. 14.
