An oldie, but goodie.

After six decades of remodels and movie cameos, Mr. Potato Head turns 60 this year.

He hasn’t always been plastic.

When Mr. Potato Head was first created 60 years ago, he was just parts — push pins that kids stuck in real potatoes. He met Mrs. Potato Head in 1953.

Over the years, there have been 365 different, interchangeable parts from which kids could choose. That equals about 500 billion septillion configurations.
