WESTLAKE, Ohio -- If you don’t have those presents wrapped and under the tree just yet, you’re not alone. Two days before Christmas, the shopping rush is in full swing and people are trying to get those last minute deals.
A lot of shoppers will tell you it's all about getting that perfect gift at the perfect price. But for others, that's only half the fun.
Hundreds of people congregated at Crocker Park for the holiday shopping experience, Sunday night.
"I really like to get out and see all this," said one shopper.
"I always wait until the last minute it's easier that way,” said Wally Brown, who was shopping for a handful of people.
“You always find good deals, especially on electronics,” he went on.
“I have nephews and all they want are gift cards, so they can buy what they want,” said Brenda Rios, a shopper.
Many shoppers tell FOX 8 that they aren’t too worried that the clock is ticking to get those last minute gifts.
"It just seems like the people are extra nice now getting to be close to Christmas and everybody is just like happy and in good spirits," said Karen Barnes, of Chardon.
Some people had a tough time finding exactly what they needed, and may have to make another trip out.
"Still got to go out, probably still not going to be done tonight, said Larry White.
Crocker Park opens on Christmas Eve from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
