CANTON, Ohio -- Two male suspects are wanted for an armed bank robbery in Canton Wednesday.
Police say the men robbed the Huntington Bank located at the 6000 block of Navarre Road SW at approximately 10:45 a.m. The men were reported armed with semi-automatic handguns, and both had their faces and hands covered. The suspects were also aggressive during the robbery, and police say they jumped onto the counter and physically grabbed about $2,900 from the bank teller's drawer.
The suspects fled on foot to what Canton police say was a waiting Chevy Z-71 white short bed pick-up truck with tinted windows. The truck was damaged on the passenger side bed area, and had a temporary tag that may have had the letter "W". The description of the driver is unknown.
Investigators say a dye pack exploded on the ground outside of the vehicle before it left the scene. The FBI believes the same men may have robbed a Huntington Bank in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.
Anyone with information regarding the robbery should call the FBI Canton Office at (330) 456-6200.
A reward is available for an arrest leading to prosecution of the suspects.
