LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- The Reagle Beagle Salon in Lakewood held its very first "Haircuts From the Heart" event for those in need Sunday.

The event is aimed at giving those who may not get a chance to get a makeover in time for the holidays an opportunity to get one, free of charge.

Along with offering free haircuts to the less fortunate, the event featured bins from the Cleveland Food Drive and Coats for Kids. The Coats for Kids drive collected more than 50 coats which will be donated to local shelters.

"Haircuts From the Heart" was The Reagle Beagle's first event of its kind. Salon owners say the event was a success, and will be the first of many.
