Woman Dies After Being Stabbed 65 Times
CLEVELAND — Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman on the city’s east side. The Cuyahoga County Coroner’s Office says she was stabbed 65 times.
Cleveland police officers responded to an apartment building in the 1900 block of East 69th Street, just before 4:30 a.m.
That’s where they found 31-year-old Jessica Harrell lying on the first floor landing with multiple stab wounds.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials confirm that a 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection to the homicide.
Further details, including the suspect’s identity, were not immediately released.
