Woman Found Guilty in Deadly Hit-and-Run

OLMSTED TOWNSHIP– An 80-year-old woman is found guilty in a hit-and-run accident that killed a 13-year-old boy.

Helen Fettes changed her plea from not guilty to no contest Friday.

She was found guilty of aggravated vehicular homicide, vehicular homicide and vehicular manslaughter.

The victim, Charlie Kho, was killed in October 2011, while walking along Cook Road in Olmsted Township.

Investigators say Fettes ran over the boy and drove away.

Months later, she was indicted in the case.

Fettes will be sentenced January 14.
