Power Restored After Outages

Some Thanksgiving dinners in Cleveland Heights, Independence Seven Hills may have been temporarily delayed today.

According to First Energy, nearly 1,443 customers in Cleveland Heights lost power at around 12:45 p.m. The power was restored by about 1:30 p.m.

First Energy officials said the outage was caused by a tripped circuit.

But shortly after, other areas lost power.

As of 2 p.m., there were 1,499 customers in Independence without power, and 1,573 in Seven Hills.

By 3:30 p.m., however, the power had been restored.
