Prosecutor’s Office Announces Chief of Staff

CLEVELAND — The Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office announced a new Chief of Staff Tuesday.

Prosecutor Timothy McGinty has chosen Jane Platten to head the office. Platten formerly lead the Cuyahoga Board of Elections through two presidential elections as Director.

In Platten’s new role, she will help adopt reforms recommended from the Justice Management Institute, located in Colorado, among other roles.

McGinty was elected prosecutor in the November 2012 election. Prior to his election, he served as a Cuyahoga County judge.
