LORETTO, PA– Prison officials confirm Frank Russo has arrived at a federal prison in Loretto, Pennsylvania. A spokesperson tells FOX 8 that Russo arrived around 11 a.m. Friday.

The 62-year-old former Cuyahoga County auditor was sentenced to spend 22 years in federal prison, after pleading guilty to 21 corruption-related charges.

Russo’s sentence was originally supposed to start in May of 2011, but he was allowed to remain free on bond, so he could be a key witness in the trial of former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Jimmy Dimora.
